Council President Tom Schuster asked the following question(s):
- Mr. Schuster asked if Council may have an update on the $350K grant request and where we are at regarding the funding for Engine 10?
- This grant application was not awarded. The city will continue to submit applications when grants are available.
- Mr. Schuster asked if the last of the easements (2) were secured for the Fawnwood Phase 1 project, recently discussed with the city administration, and where the monies are coming from for this piece of the project.
- These two easements were secured. The project is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.
- Regarding 5C on the evening agenda, Mr. Schuster advised that a 12-month extension with the same terms in the backup documentation advises the cost was not available. Is the administration able to provide the cost of the 12-month extension at this time?
- The total invoice is $32,760.
Councilman Sean McAndrew asked the following question(s):
- Regarding the recent discussions focused on the remaining pipe issue in the Fawnwood Stormwater Project, Mr. McAndrew understood that the neighbor was advised last week that funding has been identified to continue the project on the pipe, may take a little time, and that the project will be completed. May the city confirm to Council that they are going to redirect money to this project piece and complete the project to the original plans to ensure the pipe goes all the way through?
- That is correct.
- At its May 5 meeting, Council requested a progress report from St. Cats & Dogs.
- A report is attached as a courtesy.
