The Department of Economic and Community Development consolidates the offices of Economic and Community Development, Grants, Code Enforcement, and City Planning and Zoning into a single department. The department is dedicated to advancing community, economic, and workforce development initiatives and aims to enhance service coordination, streamline operations, and expand access to grant funding. Additionally, the Department of Economic and Community Development is responsible for blight and redevelopment.
