Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Scranton will be hosting Catholic Charities USA’s traveling exhibit called People of Hope: Faith- Filled Stories of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
This free exhibit invites visitors to explore the stories of those who have given and received support through local Catholic Charities and aims to foster a sense of unity and empathy among our community. The People of Hope Museum will feature personal video stories from across the country, an audio library, an interactive poverty simulator, and a recording studio for others to share their stories of hope and service if they choose to do so.
This event will be free and open to the general public and will also include creative and engaging activities for people of all ages, as well as allow the community to learn more information on the local Catholic Charities agency in the area. A day at the park that the whole family can enjoy!
