Connell Park Healthy Village Fair

A health fair at Connell Park that serves residents of the neighborhood and the wider Scranton community. We’ll have a large tent set up in a former football field near the pool for a dozen or more partners that will do health-focused activities around vaccinations, mental health, exercise, lifestyle medicine, vision and dental care, etc. We’ll also do parenting education and serve kids’ back-to-school needs. The fair will also include music, magic, bouncy-houses, games, and cooking demonstrations. The event is being organized in partnership with the City Public Health Coordinator and Community Outreach Coordinator.
