30th Annual Santa Parade

This parade ushers in the holiday season to Downtown Scranton every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The parade includes balloons, floats, bands and many walking units. This parade ends with the visit from Santa Claus.

Family to Family Christmas Basket Giveaway

The Friends of the Poor Family to Family Christmas Food Basket Giveaway will be held December 19th from 9am to 4pm (or until supplies last) in front of the Cultural Center. It will be drive-through or walk up. No pre-registration or documentation required.

The Scranton Running Company will be hosting its annual Shiver by the River race series which includes a 5k/10k run and a 2 mile walk on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail.
