The Black Scranton Project Center for Art & Culture (BSPCAC) will feature guest speakers, music, food, and arts on the first Saturday of Black History Month. The event is free and open to the public, and you can RSVP at this link.
The Black Scranton Project will host “It’s A Vibe: Open Mic Night” to showcase local talent in NEPA, featuring poetry, live music, comedy, and much more. Everyone is welcome to attend, and tickets are priced at $10.
Downtown On Ice is a 2-Day Ice Festival in Downtown Scranton Participating businesses will showcase ice sculptures in front of their businesses. There will be live ice carvings, family-friendly activities, and programming. Rain Dates: February 23 and February 24

The Scranton Running Company will be hosting its annual Shiver by the River race series which includes a 5k/10k run and a 2 mile walk on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail.
Donya Jackson, MA, CPC, will lead a course through a series of sun salutations, guided meditation, and a sound bath ceremony. This is a safe and nurturing space for self-reflection at growth during Black History Month.
