Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti announced today the continuation of Pop-Up City Halls, a quality-of-life initiative which began last summer. The Pop-Up City Halls will take place in all parts of Scranton giving all Scranton residents an opportunity to see what the City has to offer in the ease of their own neighborhoods.
Among the services the City will highlight: smoke detector installation (Fire Department), recycling bins and schedules (Department of Public Works), rent, utility and mortgage relief information (Office of Community Development) and employee and lifeguard applications (Human Resources). Community partner participation will be announced as they are confirmed.
“After a successful series of pop-up city halls last summer, we are excited to continue this initiative and encourage residents to stop by and see us when we are in your neighborhood,” said Mayor Cognetti.
