Traffic Maintenance

The Traffic Maintenance Division is responsible for the repair and upkeep of signs, traffic signals, pedestrian signals, and crosswalks.

The Department of Public Works is constantly working to improve safety for pedestrians and increase driver awareness. Making improvements to crosswalks makes it safer for our school students, elderly residences, and drivers across Scranton. We are updating crosswalks to increase visibility to ensure a clear path for those crossing the street and constantly working toward making your daily neighborhood travels safer.
