The 19th Annual Scranton Jazz Festival will take place on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Celebrating jazz, blues, and world beat music, as well as the visual arts! Join us for a free “Jazz Walk” both Friday and Saturday nights with over 80 musicians performing at 20+ venues in downtown Scranton.
Saturday afternoon will also feature a “Scranton Jazz Marketplace” in partnership with Anthracite Events & Lackawanna County Arts & Culture, which is a family-friendly interactive arts marketplace with live music, art demonstrations, children’s activities and much more! Saturday night will feature our headlining act, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (tickets required).
Sunday morning will host multiple jazz brunches across the city, and the evening will feature our Emmy Nominated SJF Big Band with special Grammy Award winning guest saxophonist, Joe Lavano (tickets required).
