Announcement for Applications and Timeline
Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti announces that Pennsylvania Gaming Local Share Account (LSA) grant applications will be accepted beginning August 4th, 2021 for economic development projects. The funding originates from the PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act (Act 2004-71) under the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). Each year 2% of gross terminal revenues of certain licensed gaming facilities are distributed to several counties to enhance well-being of our communities. Project categories include Economic Development, Community Improvement and Public Interest.
