The City of Scranton Dangerous Tree Removal Assistance Program is here to help low-to-moderate income homeowners remove dangerous trees or branches from their property at no cost.
To qualify you must:
- Live in Scranton
- Carry and Share Proof of Insurance
- Own and Occupy your Home
- Have a Tree or Branch Marked Dangerous by City Code Enforcement or the City Arborist
- Meet the Household Income Requirements below
Deadline: First come, first served. Limited Funding Available!
2025 Income Limit Examples:

2 People | $53,600 |
3 People | $60,300 |
4 People | $66,950 |
