Purpose

The mission of the Human Relations Commission for the City of Scranton is to promote ways in which people in the community learn to get along and to safeguard equal opportunity for all.

Meetings for 2023

Scranton’s Human Relations Commission meetings are held quarterly at 5:30pm on the 2nd floor of City Hall.

If you feel that you have been a victim of unlawful discrimination you should contact the Scranton Human Relations Commission. You may file a complaint along with the authorization and release by downloading and completing the forms below or by personally visiting the Law Department at City Hall. Please also review the Complaint Filing Brochure to familiarize yourself with the process and procedures of the Scranton Human Relation Commission. Please submit all completed complaint forms with authorization and release to bhamer@scrantonpa.gov.
