The Bureau of Information Technology serves as the central hub for the City’s administrative information support and network services. The department is comprised of Information Services, Internet Services, Graphic/Web Design, and Help Desk operators and oversees a broad range of technological responsibilities.

The Bureau provides strategic leadership for city-wide information technology initiatives and manages technology budgets. Acting as a technical resource for other city departments, the Bureau places an emphasis on ethical computer usage and ensures the maintenance and troubleshooting of essential Internet applications and systems.
