How It Works Upcoming Events Want a Sprucin’ Up Scranton Clean-Up For Your Neighborhood? Want More Information?

Mayor Cognetti invites you to be a part of “Sprucin’ Up Scranton,” our city-wide event dedicated to making Scranton a cleaner, greener place for all of us.

Let’s come together as a community to tidy up our neighborhoods (Everyone is welcome to join!)

How it Works

On the day of the event, we’ll have a central spot in the city where you can pick up bags, gloves, and other cleaning supplies.

Once you’ve got your gear, you can head out to your own neighborhood (or any area you choose) to help clean up. It’s all about picking up litter, tidying up our sidewalks, and caring for our green spaces!

When you’re done, bring back your trash bags and our Department of Public Works will come and pick them up at the end of the event.
