Youth Engagement Fair

Join us at our Youth Engagement Fair, an event to help teens aged 14-17 secure summer jobs as well as providing a range of services, including on-the-spot job interviews, resume and head-shot assistance, and more, to ensure teens are well-prepared for their summer endeavors.

What Can You Expect?

• On-The-Spot Job Interviews:
  • Connect with potential employers and secure a summer job!
• Resume and Head-Shot Assistance:
  • Get assistance in creating an impressive resume and head-shot!
• Working Permit Applications*:
  • Apply for your working permit and get it the same day!

• College Preparation:
  • Meet representatives from local colleges and get advice on what you can do to prepare!
• And More!

*Working Permit Application Requirements:

For those interested in applying for working papers, please ensure you bring the following documents:

• Child’s Birth Certificate:
  • Original or certified copy
• Child’s Social Security Number(SSN):
  • Your child’s SSN card or a document containing your child’s social security number.
• Verification that your child attends school within the Scranton School District (SSD):
  • Document or ID-Card with current address.
