How to Get Recognition from the Mayor

Mayor Paige Cognetti is happy to recognize Scranton residents, organizations, community events, or significant achievements by issuing proclamations.

You will need to apply each year for proclamations recognizing annual events. Mayor Cognetti does not renew proclamations. All requests are subject to review and editing by the Mayor and her team before being issued. We may also reach out to you for additional supporting materials if necessary.

You must submit a request at least 10 business days before your event or print-date. You can request a proclamation below using our request form, or by contacting the Mayor’s Executive Assistant, Kaitlin Scott.
